Alpha Tau Omega needs your help in passing important legislation coming up in the House and Senate that could benefit your chapter.

On Wednesday, September 19, 2007, between 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST all Fraternities and Sororities are conducting a “Phone March” on Capitol Hill to bolster Congressional support for the Collegiate Housing and Infrastructure Act ( H.R. 643/S. 638).

The HDC needs your help in its efforts to build Theta Eta a new chapter house. Currently, donations used for non-educational housing improvements are not tax deductible. However, efforts are underway in the United States Congress to approve a bill that will make these donations 100% tax deductible.

The new ATO house at UNA inched a little closer to groundbreaking on December 3 at Keller Hall in Florence.

Five alumni and two undergraduates met to re-form the House Development Committee (HDC) and set a timeline of events leading up to construction.
