On April 4th, 2007 the Theta Eta Educational Endowment was approved by the ATO Foundation. Once the account reaches $10,000, 5% of the annual interest gained will be made available for educational and facility grants or scholarships to benefit the chapter and initiated or uninitiated members of the Theta Eta chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at the University of North Alabama. If ever necessary, the Endowment may also be used during the re-colonizing or re-chartering of the chapter.

Educational grants might include funding for LeaderShape, Altitude, RLC or similar leadership development and educational programs, while facility grants might include exclusively educational facilities, equipment, etc. To qualify for scholarships, individuals must be full-time students in good standing with the chapter and University; and demonstrate good scholarship and leadership. Using these criteria, potential grants and scholarship recipients shall be selected and recommended to the Foundation by the Theta Eta Alumni Association, Board of Trustees, House Corporation, or a committee of Theta Eta alumni and chapter officers.

While the greatest current fundraising need is for LeaderShape & Altitude and the forthcoming campaign to build a new chapter house, we will gladly accept any donations or pledges towards building a Theta Eta endowment fund.
